The most unlikely presidential election in modern history came in 2016 when Donald Trump,

Well, fast forward to last night, Donald Trump was now a candidate coming off an election

loss who had been convicted of a felony, who was facing federal indictments and whose

favorability numbers had long been in the tank.

To win an election from that position, you'd imagine, might be an even bigger upset.

Well, as the vote came in overnight, it became apparent that Americans were breaking more toward President Trump than they ever did in 2020.
