And we're going to be talking about what the Trump win means to

housing. And it wasn't just a win. It was the biggest grand slam probably in the history of politics.

And we don't normally talk about politics on this podcast, but today it's, I think it's worth

talking about because not only did Trump win the presidency, but the Republicans

now control the Senate and they control Congress.

And so what we're going to talk about is what this is going to mean for housing, what

it's going to mean for your real estate businesses, what it's going to mean for your local

communities, and obviously what it's going to mean for your pocketbooks.

No. We were watching the election results, as I'm sure many of you, most of you probably were.

So we're also operating on caffeine and not a whole lot of sleep. That's right. Full disclosure.

Yeah, because we just got back from traveling or Julie did. So look, that's what we're going to talk about today. And I want to start out by saying probably the best stance to have in your community,

unless you live in a really firmly blue place or a firmly red place, is to be a republicrat

where that essentially means you don't really have a strong opinion one way or the other.

Because in most of our communities across the country, electoral map aside, you're going to have a lot of people that are probably a little confused about the election, especially if they're Democrats. So do be sensitive to that and do take into consideration as a real estate practitioner. It's your job to help everyone, regardless of what their political leanings are. So with that said, Julie, let's get into this.
