technically this is the final episode in the year of 2023. Oh my goodness. It's really, it's been quite the year. Well, we'll be recording another one, I think, like the last day, the 31st or 30th or something and you know it'll drop for patrons, but. Exactly. But the next episode of Head in the Office, if you're a Wednesday, we need will be coming out in January of 2024. January 3rd. It'll be our award show, obviously.

I've got a clip from Eric Adams, our favorite Republican Democrat, mayor of New York City.

And he did an interview where he's reflecting on on23. And I thought it was just a good way to prime us for the final episode. Our Wednesday weanies will be listening to in the year of 2023. And it's just, it's a good way to prime us for our award show that's happening next week. That's right. So we'll go ahead and build some anticipation.

Here we go. Mr. Mayor, we've come to the end of what was a very eventful 2023, right? So when you look at the totality of the year, if you had to describe it and it's tough to do in one word, what would that word be? And tell me why. New York. this is a place where every day you wake up, you could experience

everything from a plane crashing into our trade center to a person who's celebrating a new business

that's open. This is a very, very complicated city and that's why it's the greatest city on the globe.

He said New York's the greatest because we have 9-11 and new businesses.

Why are these like the comparable things in his mind?

In one word, describe this year.
