President Donald Trump has appeared to cast doubt on the effectiveness of his administration's own COVID-19 vaccination program.

It comes in the wake of the chaotic leadership changes at the CDC last week,

in which the agency's former director, Dr. Susan Menares, was abruptly fired

on Wednesday, less than a month into her tenure amid a dispute over vaccine policy.

On Truth Social yesterday, Trump said the nation's public health agency was being, quote,

ripped apart by the debate over vaccines, and demanded the drug companies publicly proved

the success of their

COVID jabs, also questioning whether certain data was withheld from the public.

Trump has previously called his Operation Warp Speed, the rapid development of the COVID-19

vaccine, his greatest achievement.
