going to do in our time together. We're going to cram in quite a lot. For those of you who've listened to the podcast, those of you live here at Glasgow, this is what we're going to do in our

time together. We're going to cram in quite a lot. For those of you who've listened to the podcast,

you'll know. We discuss and often disagree and come at very different perspectives to the kind

of raging issues of the time we're recording. and so what we're going to do is we did

a podcast last week our immediate response to the trump victory today we're going to look at what

the significance is of the appointments he has made some of us are thrilled some of us are having

heart attacks and then we're going to look

at, because we didn't do this last week, what are the lessons for the left, the center

left in that defeat?

If there are any, maybe there aren't.

And then we'll look at British politics and pose the question,

how wobbly is this UK Labour government,

with also a look ahead to the hugely important

2026 elections for the Scottish Parliament.

And we're going to go fast, faster than usual,

to bring all of you in here live.

So there'll be plenty of time for a much wider conversation once we've had a few thoughts.
