So if you've got a little prudential share tracker type fund, just don't give it a check for a

while. I would say, just let that password expire because things are, there's turmoil on the

market, Simon Evans, as I bring him in. It feels quite exciting to say that.

Are there any other media buzzwords we can use as to what's happening currently on the markets?

What, for turmoil, I don't know.

I mean, I always like the word correction because it just calms everyone down.

You don't need to hear about tsunamis or whirlwinds or tornado.

It's just a market correction.

And there's often a lot of truth to that.

When people draw attention to the fact that the S&P 500 has crashed by 10 points,

you know, overnight, they don't draw attention to the fact that it's roughly doubled

in the last four years, you know.

Whereas the British stock market has remained stolidly sort of stuck to, I think it

was about 7,000 to 8,000 range when I was in short trousers. So, you know, the Americans have

enjoyed several years of frankly unearned prosperity and wealth without lifting a finger,

the boomer generation. I think millennials who don't

have the spare cash, you know, after they've been indulging in their mashed avocado to buy
