President Donald Trump has arrived in central Texas, where he's surveying the damage left by the floods that killed more than 120 people last week.

He's joined by First Lady Melania Trump, along with Texas Senator Ted Cruz and Homeland Security

Secretary, Christy Noam.

Questions continue to be asked over whether the Trump administration's cuts and Noem's

cost controls have affected the Federal Emergency Management Agency's response.

Earlier today on MSNBC, Jared Moskowitz, a Democratic representative for Florida, strongly

criticized Noam's handling of the agency and called for an investigation into FEMA.

She has no idea what she is doing when it comes to FEMA.

Look, FEMA needed reform, but that's not what the secretary did.

What she did is she broke it.

More than $30 million donated to the Kerr County Flood Relief Fund will start being distributed

among local organizations today. That was the county that was hardest hit by the floods.

The White House is ramping up its criticism of the Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell over his

refusal to lower

interest rates. Trump earlier today said Powell was doing a, quote, terrible job, although

reiterated that he was not going to fire him. Here's CNN's filmattingly on how the attacks

have intensified over the last 24 hours.

The Office of Management and Budget Director, Russell Vote, very close advisor to the President,

sending a letter to Jay Powell, accusing him or alleging that he potentially broke the law

in terms of a renovation project at the Federal Reserve and that he potentially lied to Congress.

This is part of a pressure campaign that appears quite coordinated as the President desperately
