Hello from Washington, I'm Chuck Todd and this is the Chuck Todd cast.

It is midday on Wednesday.

We are more than two weeks past the election.

And at this point, there is no credible reason why President Trump has not conceded to

President Electrobyte.

He has stonewalled the transition team lied about the vote, put himself at the center of

a force fire that he lit.

He has fired his defense secretary.

He fired his head of electoral integrity, he's sidelined to CIA chief.

He's pushed independently elected leaders from his own party to go along with it.

No matter how damaging this is to our democracy, all in the service of self-interest, of power,

and of politics, maybe even financial.

The water is boiling and we're numb from all the chaos.

Are we all frogs in this boiling pot?

Joining me today, Chief Corp. for the Washington Post, Dan Balls and Katie Gleck, the National

Politics Report of the New York Times.

Plus later in the show, we joined by David Shore, he's a Democratic polling and data expert

on the progressive side of things, who has a thing or two to say about why Democrats

perform so poorly in 2020.

It's an interesting take there.

But Dan and Katie, I want to, I will admit, I vacillate between wondering if we're all

in boiling water and we don't feel it anymore and we're all the frog.
