Trump said the two leaders talked about steps to achieve a ceasefire in the Ukraine-Russia war.

Earlier, Trump set a peace deal between the two countries as quote,

very well advanced but not finalized.

Starmar urged Trump against accepting any peace deal in Ukraine that would quote,

reward Russia or its allies.

We've discussed a plan today to reach a peace that is tough and fair, that Ukraine will help

shape that's backed by strength to stop Putin coming back for more.

I'm working closely with other European leaders on this, and I'm clear that the UK is ready to put

boots on the ground and planes in the air to support a deal, working together with our allies,

because that is the only way that peace will last.

The Pentagon has ordered the removal of all content related to diversity, equity, and inclusion from its social media accounts and digital archive by March 5th.

A policy memo described the effort as a, quote, digital content refresh.
