For years, even decades, corporate media has been normalizing Donald's worst behavior,

but he himself has also normalized the most despicable behavior of his followers by modeling

that behavior.

He has lowered the bar for members of the Republican Party, public figures in general, and again, anybody in this country who continues to support him, his racism, his misogyny, his anti-immigrant hatred, etc.

So let's talk about his normalization of racism. Last week, Politico uncovered text

exchanges between leaders of young Republican groups from around the country. The messages

contained casual jokes about Nazism, rape, as well as many derisive slurs about black people,

Jews, and women.

Did anybody in the Trump regime come out to denounce these heinous comments?

Of course they did. They either downplayed them or they made it clear that they were completely fine with such things.

Let's take a look at Vice President Baby J.D. Vance commenting about this scandal

during a recent podcast appearance.

I really don't want us to grow up in a country where a kid telling a stupid joke, telling a very

offensive stupid joke is caused to ruin their lives. We're not canceling kids because they do something stupid in a

group chat. See what he did there? Made it all about the children. Well, the people in these

text chats, the people exchanging these vile and very specific messages about concentration camps,

gas chambers, rape, etc. We're all in their 20s, 30s, and some even in their 40s.

These were not children.

Also, as far as I'm aware, nobody was talking about ruining anybody's lives.

We were talking about making this kind of discourse unacceptable and drawing a bright red line

underneath that belief.

I think should they lose their jobs? Absolutely. Should they have to atone? Of course. Will they have to? No. Because they are members of the
