Even more elections. It's elections, elections, elections. This time in America, we will be talking about it all.

It's unholy. I'm Jonathan Friedland of The Guardian, usually in London, but this time

in Washington, D.C. And I'm Unleut Lefay, up Channel 12, still in Tel Aviv.

So, Jonathan. Unholy, two Jews on the news from Keshe podcast. So Jonathan there in Washington, D.C., results are in,

sort of, sort of. Yeah, I mean, isn't it funny? Because I seem to remember we said if the Israeli

elections won't be clear for weeks, months, who will even know? And actually it was pretty clear pretty quickly,

whereas this time, as you and I speak, which is probably into lunchtime Wednesday for Americans,

so late evening in Israel, the TV anchors are not even able to say who will control the House

or the Senate either. Now, yes, individual races have

been called, but normally by now you know roughly the political complexion of the two houses

of the legislature of the country, and they're both on a knife edge. I mean, most people

here will tell you that Democrats are going to lose control of the

House, that nobody can call the Senate. And I have to, you know, when I say most people here,

keep reminding me of this, because one of the things I say a lot, and I've said it even when I was

here as a correspondent, which was whisper it three decades ago, was the conventional wisdom in Washington is always wrong.

And I said it to one of our interviewees that I was speaking to as I've been traveling around this country

for various Guardian reporting and podcasting work. And I said it to one of them. And I wish I'd said it more,

because once again, it was, and they really were

when I was here, it was like a rule. Whatever all the pundits were saying would almost always turn out

to be wrong. And yet again, they were all wrong, including the parties themselves, because they all

thought it was going to be a massive red wave and the Republicans were just going to wipe out,
