Hello from Washington. I'm Chuck Todd, cast. It is now Wednesday morning, which it really means it's just after midnight on Tuesday post debate I got a terrific interview coming up with the assistant

0:21.3

attorney general Jonathan Canner, he's head of the

0:23.6

Department of Justice's antitrust division. We go deep on this idea of trying to

0:31.1

go after Google, go after Apple, go after these big companies, and the question of whether

0:37.0

they're essentially charging that they're using monopolistic practices and it's an important debate it's an

0:45.5

important conversation and I really think you're gonna enjoy Mr.

0:49.8

canner on this he is this is this is not going to be some boring symposium on antitrust law I

0:57.5

promise you that but look we are now about an hour after the first and perhaps only debate between Donald Trump and

1:06.2

Kamala Harris.

the debate revolved around one person, Donald Trump. If you

1:26.0

came down from Mars and you were asked to pick which one was the incumbent president and which

1:32.1

one was the challenger. You'd probably say

1:34.9

Kamil Harris was the challenger and Trump was the incumbent. And if that was the

1:40.5

Harris goal and I think it was, which is make sure this debate is about

1:44.3

Donald Trump and not Kamala Harris well then she won and as far as sort of

1:49.3

tactically I think it's not even a close call because by any conventional measure you talk to

1:54.8

any political strategists left or right I talked to a bunch of them during this debate

1:59.6

be a text post debate and they all agree.
