for the issues that matter today on this first full week of April, first full week of

the second quarter of this year. So glad to be

back. Hope you guys had a terrific holiday weekend and we are ready to hit the ground running today.

Another short week ahead for us. I'll be here today and tomorrow out Wednesday, Thursday,

back on Friday. So let's jam it all in today.

Obviously, I've been out a couple days.

We've had a long weekend, Pan Bondi out as AG, the oral arguments and birthright

citizenship that were a horrible flop and the implications of that.

And then, of course, the rescue of the F-15 crewmen, the WSO that was just a spectacular

search and rescue. But the bigger question is, it was a great tactical and moral and

psychological victory against Iran. But again, given how horrible the state of our domestic politics are, our economy, and how fragile it is, how do we win the strategic objectives of the war, even if we're winning tactically, maybe operationally. But what about strategically? What happens with the Straits of Hormuz, the fertilizer shipments down because of the destroyed plants from the Iranian missiles?

What does victory look like five weeks after the president said this would be four weeks or less?

There are some legitimate questions here, and I want to give a balanced approach.

So we're going to bring back Mike Pregent for our main course today.

He is our expert on Iran.

He seems to be pretty bullish about it.

So I'm going to challenge him with some of maybe our concerns about these broader objectives because, you know,

there are concerns about the cost. And I'm not talking about the cost of rescuing the pilot.

Obviously, that is something we should always do. But more broadly, the ROI and the timing of this
