President Donald Trump said he'll take up to two weeks to decide whether to bomb Iran.

Let's get you caught up with today's seven stories.

After days of tough talk, President Trump dialed back his rhetoric about the possibility of

U.S. intervention in Iran.

Iran and Israel have been exchanging strikes for the past week.

Yesterday, White House Press Secretary Caroline Levitt shared a statement from Trump.

I have a message directly from the president, and I quote,

based on the fact that there's a substantial chance of negotiations that may or may not take place with Iran in the near future,

I will make my decision whether or not to go within the next two weeks.

That's a quote directly from the president for all of you today. Leavitt confirmed to the post that the administration has been

in touch with Iranian officials in recent days. Meanwhile, Iran is set for talks with European

officials in Geneva today. But Levit still emphasized that Trump hasn't ruled out a strike

against Iran's nuclear program. Israel does not have weapons capable of penetrating Iran's deepest

nuclear enrichment facility, which is buried deep under a mountain. The U.S. does. But if the U.S. gets involved, Iran has threatened to retaliate

against American military sites in the Middle East.

An appeals court allowed President Trump to keep the National Guard in Los Angeles. That's number two.

Earlier this month, Trump ordered more than 4,000 National Guard members to L.A. It was in response

to a wave of protests against immigration raids and Trump's deportation policies. California sued

the Trump administration over the deployment,

and a district judge ruled in the state's favor. But yesterday, a federal appeals court said
