0:52.8	Let me just make a few points about what we can expect to see in Impeachment the sequel.
0:59.5	Because we've seen this movie before.
1:02.5	First of all, I always try to put air quotes around the word trial because an Impeachment
1:08.0	trial is not a trial.
1:10.0	It bears no resemblance to a criminal trial.
1:13.6	There are no rules of evidence.
1:15.1	There are no real rules of procedure except the makeshift rules that the Senate creates
1:20.5	as it goes along.
1:22.6	The due process rights that a defendant enjoys in a criminal trial, which can be found in
1:28.2	the Fifth Amendment in the Bill of Rights, do not apply to an impeachment hearing and
1:33.4	impeachment trial in the Senate.
1:37.2	Most importantly, the jurors in a criminal trial must be fair and impartial and must
1:43.2	have no outcome, no stake in the outcome of the case.
