A staple of Donald's so-called leadership has been to place loyalists in positions of real importance,

no matter how unqualified or incompetent they are.

Lately, he's been attempting to do this with U.S. attorneys in districts where he hopes to influence

legal outcomes. Unfortunately for Donald, a few of these horrendous and in many cases unlawful picks might be coming back to bite him.

Politico reports that a federal judge ruled that Bill Assaili, Donald's temporary appointee as a U.S. attorney for the Central District of California, has been serving illegally since July.

Judge J. Michael Seabright, a George W. Bush appointee, found that Assailie's term exceeded the legal 120-day limit in place for acting U.S.

attorneys. He also deemed Attorney General Pam Bondi's attempt to extend Assailie's tenure into

2026, a violation of federal

statutes. This week, Assaili gave a press conference in which he commented on the matter.

I'll just say we're less concerned with titles and we're more concerned with the authority of my position to be able to run this office.

Is that what he's concerned?

He's not concerned with the illegality of his appointment in the first place.

That seems an interesting position for a U.S. attorney to have.

In an investigative piece, the Washington Post delved into Donald's recent

obsession with appointing loyalist prosecutors. And though this practice brings about the indictments

Donald, in many cases, once, he may not be happy about the verdicts of these cases.

Lawyers for former FBI director James Comey

have asked a judge to dismiss the case against him.

They argued that Lindsay Halligan,

the US attorney overseeing the prosecution,

was appointed illegally by the Trump regime.
