I want to start today with the conversation around Greenland, one that has taken over the

meeting of all the worst people in the world, which is held annually at Davos, the World Economic

Forum, and where Donald Trump was greeted there by a display on the mountain

nearby that had been created by skiers, saying no kings. Something that's a little bit

awkward for those members of the delegations from around the world, and particularly from

Europe, who still have kings, notably our allies in the UK and of course elsewhere.

This is a situation that is brought upon us by the president's machinations toward Greenland, ones that he has been very clear about and that has led to meetings between J.D. Vance, Marco Rubio, and other officials representing Greenland and representing Denmark in recent weeks.

It's one where the president has been willing to even, you know, rattle the saber a little bit, potentially talk about the fact that the military could very easily take Greenland.

Greenland is of enormous importance to us strategically and has been for the long time,

but it's getting only more so in an environment where you can't have a lot of confidence in the

Europeans to do anything more than engage in theatrics.
