Hello from CNN, I'm Joe Beck, with the five things you need to know for Tuesday, June 24th.

The ceasefire between Iran and Israel appears to be in jeopardy, just hours after it was dramatically announced by President Donald Trump.

Israel has accused Iran of firing missiles and said it would strike Tehran, but Iran has denied

violating the truce.

And Trump's anger at the situation boiled over this morning.

We basically have two countries that have been fighting so long and so hard that they

don't know what the f*** they're doing.

The president affirmed he did not believe the ceasefire was broken, but he said he was

unhappy in particular with Israel, who he said quickly violated the truce.

Israel, as soon as we made the deal, they came out and they dropped a load of bombs

or likes of which I'd never seen before.

A lot of Americans weren't very happy with Trump's decision to strike Iran's nuclear

facilities at the weekend.

A new CNN SSRS poll found people disapprove of the attacks 56 to 44 percent, and

about 60 percent were worried that they would increase the Iranian threat to the U.S.

It also showed there was a party divide, with Democrats broadly against the strikes,

and most Republicans, 82%, supporting them. But Trump is also taking some heat from within his

own party for his decision. Representative Marjorie Taylor Green made it clear that

she's against the U.S. getting involved, and said there's a, quote, very big divide in the party

over the issue. Well, I got elected on the exact same campaign promises that President Trump

got elected on. We promised no more foreign wars, no more regime change. Trump is in the Netherlands today for this year's NATO summit, with the U.S. strikes on Iran

and the ongoing war in Ukraine casting a shadow over the event.
