Just hours after President Donald Trump declared a ceasefire was in effect between Iran and Israel,

there have already been accusations it's been broken.

An Israeli military official told CNN it intercepted two missiles launched from Iran.

forces will, quote, respond with force after what he described as Iran's utter violation

of the agreement. An Iranian senior security official tells CNN it did not fire any missiles

after the ceasefire started. Middle East correspondent for the economist Greg Karlstrom says this is unsurprising.

The apparent ceasefire agreement came after Iran's retaliation for U.S. strikes, with Tehran hitting an American-run military base in Qatar yesterday.

But they gave the U.S. and Qatar a heads up hours before they struck.
