Okay, Megan, the first story driving the day is the president's big economic swing out west

where you are.

You spent some time at the president's event yesterday.

Tell us a little bit about this trip and what the president is hoping to do out there.

Yeah, my big takeaway being at this so-called no taxes on Tips

Roundtable in Las Vegas yesterday, where I am, is, you know, this is really kind of the message

that his Republican allies, Republican operatives across the country have really been wanting

him to deliver since January. I think back to when

his chief of staff, Susie Wiles, was telling reporters that he was going to be hitting the road

weekly with this affordability message, the goal here ostensibly to, you know, sell his economic

agenda to the American people. And most of that, of course, being in the form of the so-called,

you know, one big beautiful bill that Congress passed last summer and that he signed into law. So at this event,

he was talking about no taxes on tips. This is the policy that the president says was, you know,

birthed out of a conversation he had with a waitress in Las Vegas, but he also got into some of the

other provisions in the mega law. He talked about,

you know, no taxes for seniors, which is this, you know, enhanced deduction for seniors that was

included in the legislation. He also talked about no taxes on overtime, got into some of the
