which is not the only measure of success,

but it is read by a lot of people in the biz.

One was my taking on Scott Pelly,

if he wants to give a speech to some press group, write an op-ed,

whatever he wants to do and attack Donald Trump, that's fine. It's a little bit at odds with how

he's been over the years, where he has sort of been a straightforward guy who doesn't rock

the boat, but given what's going on with the Donald Trump suing CBS and 60 minutes, not over

a Pelly story, it's fine. I just thought it was wildly inappropriate. That was the phrase I used.

To do it at a graduation ceremony at Wake Forest, I just thought it was the wrong forum.

Secondly, there was Rich Lowry, editor of National Review,

taking on Trump's new taco nickname.

I think we get that in a little bit here on the pod.

And saying, look, he, Lowry, is not a fan of these tariffs.

A lot of most mainstream economists aren't.

But because they've been delayed, you know, the pattern is Trump announces draconian new tariffs.
