Donald is under increasing fire for scandals and policy failures in his own regime,

and he's doing what any reasonable, responsible, mature leader would do.

He's failing to take responsibility and he's throwing other people under the bus.

Last week, the Washington Post reported that Defense Secretary Pete Hagsath ordered the killing of two men who survived an initial attack on a Caribbean boat suspected of smuggling drugs. Not, not punishable

by death. Former military lawyer Todd Huntley told the post that killing these men, quote,

amounts to murder, unquote. Huntley added that even in a war, commanding troops to kill opponents who are unable to defend

themselves, quote, would in essence be in order to show no quarter, which would be a war

crime, unquote.

Since that article, the New York Times has responded that Republicans have joined Democrats

in publicly questioning the legality of these boat strikes.

Wow, it's about time.

It only took 80 people being murdered by the United States military in order for that to happen.

The House and Senate Armed Services committees have launched bipartisan investigations.

This is the most significant oversight effort yet into Donald's unauthorized military raids in the region.

Naturally, Donald is responding to this scrutiny by saying he knew nothing about it,

which last I checked is exactly the opposite of what the commander-in- chief is supposed to say. Take a look.

We talked a little bit about the strikes and the controversy around secretary. The defense

keeping said. I don't know anything about it. He said he did not say that. And I believe

that he don't know if there was the two men. The second strike to kill the two men.

No, he said he said he didn't do it.

Would you be okay with that if he didn't?

He said he didn't do it, so I don't have to make that decision.
