Next on the AM update. in possibly the most watched and hotly contested

GOP congressional primaries so far this year, the race in Virginia's fifth congressional

district between incumbent Bob Goods, the chairman of the Freedom

Caucus and John McGuire endorsed by Donald Trump and Kevin McCarthy, amongst others, is too

close to call as far as recording time goes. This is where we are at, folks. It seems like

incumbents, left-wing Republicans all over the place have had no problem winning

their races, their primaries, special elections, what have you, all over the country.

And the closest we're coming so far if Bob Good loses this election, the closest we're

coming to an incumbent losing, a Republican incumbent losing, is Bob Good, one of the best members in Congress.

Moving on, the Board of Elders at Gateway Church in South Lake, Texas announced Tuesday the megachurch's founder, Robert Morris, has resigned.

And they've retained a law firm to investigate a claim made by a woman who alleges Morris sexually abused her over multiple years in the 1980s beginning

when she was 12. Morris's resignation comes after the woman, 54-year-old grandmother Cindy Clemshire,

reported that the megachurch pastor began sexually abusing her on December 25, 1982,

and continued with the abuse for four and a half years after that. Without naming

Clemenshire, Morris admitted to the Christian Post in an earlier statement he had engaged

in inappropriate sexual behavior with a young lady while he was a pastor in his early 20s.
