Trump just made the incredibly dangerous decision of appointing an inexperienced 22-year-olds who just

graduated from college as the person in charge of domestic terrorism in this country.

Was it on purpose? Was this just because he was a heritage foundation loyalist, or is more domestic terrorism something he needs

to push his authoritarian agenda? My name is Dean Adol with a Midas Touch Network. Let's break

this down. Now, ProPublica is reporting on this really quite shocking appointment. And we have seen Trump appoint people

unqualified to very important positions. We've seen it with Pete Heggseth. We've seen it with

the Secretary of Education. They go in front of their committees. I mean, Christy Noem couldn't

understand habeas corpus. We've seen that being qualified for the role is not

something he cares about as much as how somebody looks in front of the camera, talks in front of

the camera. But this, this feels even a step too far for that traditionalist anti-DEI crowd.

This feels perhaps intentional because that's, of course,

not the only nomination that Trump has made involving somebody who's a far right

radicalist who supports martial law. So let's get into all of this. First of all, the man involved here,

his name is Thomas Fugate. And he is, he graduated literally last year from college. This person is

perhaps the most unqualified person you can think of. They said that people involved with the Department of Homeland Security said that he's so

unqualified because he seems to have no national security expertise whatsoever that he

wouldn't even typically be interviewed for a job at the program that he's now in charge of, that unqualified.

The program he is now in charge of is the government's main hub to combat terrorism in this country. It includes an 18 million grant program in order

to combat violent extremism, which we have had plenty of. Now, this program not only deals

with domestic terrorism, but also deals with school shootings and other targeted violence.

Again, perhaps it's uniquely American, these school shootings.

They are happening more often, not less often.
