Thank you. Let's get you caught up with today's seven stories. President Trump usually seems to be quickly forgiven by his base for any controversies.

But this time, things are playing out differently.

Yesterday, Trump lashed out at Republicans who are questioning his decision to not

release files related to the late sex offender, Jeffrey Epstein. In a social media post, Trump called the

controversy a hoax. He accused Republicans of playing into the hands of Democrats. And he referred to the

people who were mad at him as his

past supporters, in all caps for emphasis. Later, he repeated the comments to reporters in the Oval Office.

It's all been a big hoax. It's perpetrated by the Democrats. And some stupid Republicans and

foolish Republicans fall into the net. And so they try and do the

Democrats work. Meanwhile, Democrats are laying on the pressure in Congress. They are trying to find

ways to force the release of the files. But they haven't been successful yet.

Detainees reported grim conditions at alligator alcatraz.

That's number two.

Two weeks ago, the Trump administration opened a temporary migrant detention center in Florida's Everglades.

It has become a symbol for the administration's

aggressive immigration enforcement policies. Yesterday, the Post reported that the detention center

is already dealing with a lot of problems. Portable toilets routinely back up. There is limited

fresh water to drink. And swarms of mosquitoes are attacking detainees and
