The dramatic rescue inside Iran of a downed American airman once again showcases the skill

and bravery of the American military. Plus, Donald Trump reinforces his ultimatum to Iran that it should agree

to a ceasefire on his terms. And if Iran does not, he will target the country's bridges and

electric grid and power plants. So far at least, Iran is not cooperating. Welcome now into its fifth week,

the war on Iran may be on the cusp of escalation. But first, let's talk about the brilliant

rescue of the F-15 weapons specialist who ejected some 200 miles inside Iran, evaded capture for 48 or so hours until his rescued

by U.S. Special Forces on the weekend. This is Potomac Watch, a daily podcast of the Wall Street

Talk about the training that goes in to these rescues.

This is not a mission set that these units adopt while they're in theater all of a sudden,

just because someone is missing.

The A-10 pilots are called Sandy Qualified A-10 pilots.

They get certified to do this.

The special operations forces on the ground are trained specifically in this as well.

All those involved have some sort of specialized military training to make sure they can execute

this mission the best they possibly can.

The rebuilding of the military after what happened during the Biden administration is a huge thing

goes directly towards this success.
