Summary

What makes Donald Trump different from most other politicians? He actually keeps his promises! For example: tariffs. Since the 80s, Trump has been saying that other countries have screwed the United States economically. During his reelection campaign, he promised to do something about that -- with tariffs. And look what's happened! Over 70 countries have come, hat in hand, asking for a deal. Except China. They think they can go toe-to-toe with America economically. With past presidents, they'd probably be right. But not with Donald Trump! But now the question is: how do we decouple from China? Past administrations have allowed so many things we depend on to be built in China. Steven W. Mosher is a China expert and the President of the Population Research Institute and he's got some ideas on how to isolate the Chinese Communist Party.

Chuck Schumer said, yeah, it's the greatest affront to democracy.

1:21.5

It's voter suppression of the highest order.

1:25.3

And mark my words, this will not pass the senate so we'll see a couple democrats

1:30.3

talked about yesterday so that passed that was big because all the freedom caucus guys needed to

1:41.9

sign on to that and it passed 216 to 214, I think it was.

1:45.5

So it got just enough.

1:47.6

So the framework passed.

1:49.4

So now it's going to go to all the committees.

1:51.8

And the committees now have to go find the savings and get it done.

1:56.0

And hopefully, and this is what we learned yesterday,

1:57.6
