And he has ideas about how the Senate

should handle presidential appointments. He is, he warned, according to the Washington Post,

Russian President Vladimir Putin against expanding the war in Ukraine, to be clear.

The Kremlin has said that the two did not speak. And even high-profile political

opponents, like Adam Schiff, who will be a senator from California, are acknowledging they have to
