Finally, finally, somebody agrees with my rant about turkey and why we only eat it once a year.

And that someone is the vice president of the United States.

J.D. Vance delivering Thanksgiving remarks at the

home of the 101st Airborne. He says, if you think of all the holidays we celebrate,

Thanksgiving is the most uniquely American holidays. It's Christmas, of course, all these other

holidays are important. I love as Christmas as

as much as anyone. I've got three little kids. He goes on to say, think about turkey. Who really

likes? Be honest with yourself. Who really likes turkey? Some of the soldiers hooted. Vance said,

you're all full of sht. Everybody who raised your shit. Everybody who raised your hands.

Everybody who raised your hands. Think about it. And here's how I know, every single one of you who raised your hands is lying to me. How many times do you roast an 18 pound turkey, just

randomly? You know, just on a nice summer afternoon. We're going to go get an 18 pound turkey.

Nobody does it. Nobody does it because

turkey doesn't actually taste that good. But on Thanksgiving, we're going to cook a turkey by God,

because that's what Americans do. We cook this giant American bird. We do all kinds of crazy

things to make it taste good. He said he was going to deep fry his turkey. If you've got to deep fry something

to make it taste good, it probably isn't that good. That's a pretty good rule of thumb.

Chicken is good all the time. Okay. So much has happened over the four-day weekend.

You know, I think a lot of people didn't work on Friday.

Anyway, welcome back. I got so much to cover today.

It used to be there was a time when, if you didn't work on that Friday, basically not much happened

except for the traditional presidential pardon of a couple of turkeys.
