A federal judge orders the release of Columbia student,

Masan Madawi, finding that the Trump arrest and detention of him

was unlawful in a scathing opinion.

Let's break this down.

Yet again, the justice system is where we're seeing the pushback,

the upholding of our Constitution.

As we know, Republicans control Congress.

We're seeing nothing there.

But judge after judge is standing up for the rule of law and against Trump.

And in this latest opinion by a federal district judge, finding that the Columbia student

that the Trump regime arrested during

his citizenship appointment. He evidently, according to the judge in this opinion, had even

completed the interview at that facility. And after the interview, the ICE agents came in and arrested him. They didn't show

even any warrant at the time during the arrest. And then as we know, he was held in this federal

detention facility for the last few weeks. The government had tried to argue that this federal

district judge had no jurisdiction. That is the argument that

we're seeing time and time again with Trump during these attention hearings, not arguing on the

substance so much because they don't have good arguments on the substance, but trying to argue

procedurally for a win. And here they're saying

that the federal judge can't step into this because this is an immigration issue. And the judge is

not an immigration judge and so that this judge has no authority to review whether or not his
