By every metric, Trump's first 100 days has been a disaster.

And according to new reporting, the first 100 days has backfired in a big way for one of his most important backers, Miriam Adelson.

Let's break this down.

I mean, as we know, billionaires in general who have backed Trump

are feeling the pain of doing that. Elon Musk is a great example. Never mind the fact that

most of these billionaires have lost quite a bit of money during Trump's chaotic terrafore

that is basically tanking our economy. But Miriam Adelson has backfired in very

particular ways. Now, she has backed Trump since the beginning. She and her husband gave

millions of dollars to Trump all along the way. In this most recent election, she gave

$100 million to Trump in order to

re-elect him. And what has she gotten for that money? Well, a whole lot of grief. Since this

first hundred days, according to Vanity Fair, she has had to drop a very significant project that she has tried to have for 10 years.

Let's get into this.

So essentially, the family-owned casino company, Las Vegas Sands, was trying to secure a license

for what will be a casino in Long Island, New York. This is evidently going to be a very

lucrative casino, kind of like a crown jewel location, an untapped market. And so investors,

billionaires, company are all vying to get this license. Her company has spent $400 million to date to even be able to bid on the license.

This is how much money they think is going to come from this casino.

They see this casino generating cash for years and years and years.

So they're invested, or they already invested $400 million just to get the license.

They paid lobbyists.
