Let's get into the mix here. Are your Washington headlines of the day? Number one, Trump's two weeks starts now. Number two,

armed services, Democrats target Iran. And number three, on the trail, Democrats overperform

in Georgia. All right, everybody, happy Wednesday. I am very thankful to be back. And a huge,

huge thanks to Robert and our whole team for jumping in as I was sick on Monday and Tuesday.

A lot of folks across D.C. I know have been facing some of that same illness. So I'm very glad

to be back in the driver's seat today. And it has been a very busy week and a very busy 24 hours.

So we are kicking off. Punchful News a.m. with a look at what is

happening between the U.S. and Iran. With this headline, Trump's two week starts now, President

Donald Trump's most recent, will he or won't he episode, in this case destroying Iran's

economy, infrastructure and civilization is on hold for at least two

weeks. The president agreed to a 14-day ceasefire with Iranian officials in exchange for reopening

the Strait of Ramos, although the waterway is still under Iranian control. So whether this

is a good idea or a good deal for the United States still remains to be seen.

Tehran has declared this accord a massive victory, saying the United States will eventually

withdraw its troops, ease sanctions, allow uranium enrichment, and accept Iranian control of the

strait. U.S. and Iranian negotiators could be in person in Islamabad, Pakistan. CNN reported.
