announced sometime soon. You've got Donald Trump saying Cuban officials are now actively negotiating

with him and the Secretary of State Marco Rubio. Did I hear you use the word Cuba Stryka?

That's what they're calling it. That is, okay, so you, that is a Cold War callback.

So if you're younger than 45, you may not remember the words parastroika and Glasnose.

Those were the words that former Soviet leader Mikhail Gorbachev used to describe the reforms that he was trying to institute in his country.

I find it fascinating that they're bringing up one of those words again and applying it to the

communist regime in Cuba here in 2026.

Trump described Cuba as being at the end of the line economically.

They've got severe shortages of money on oil and it has forced the island into

crisis. Some of the potential agreements could include relaxing some U.S. sanctions,

easing travel restrictions for Americans, do it through tourism. Also, deals involving ports,

energy, and tourism and negotiations have repeatedly included the idea of a exit for their president while the Castro family remains in Cuba.

I think this is, whatever ends up happening in Cuba is going to be upon us real, real quick.

And I know we've got a lot going on. Shoot, we just had gotten over what happened in Venezuela and, you know, taking Maduro and putting them in a New York jail cell. And now we've got what's going on in Iran. Last week we were teaming up with Ecuador to battle the cartels in their country. But what happens in Cuba is going to happen really, really fast because here's the problem.

They produce virtually nothing.

Almost everything is imported to that country, especially the big things like energy.

Oil is a huge thing there.

They've had blackouts now for weeks.
