Okay, are we on our way to a 2008-style crash in the housing market?

I see a lot of fear-mongering that we are.

Is that the case? There is a housing slump.

It's spreading across the U.S.

Prices are now falling in a lot of cities.

Is this just a correction from what we endured during the pandemic,

or is there something deeper going on?

So some markets are losing value, pandemic boomed boom downs, especially in the south and the west,

places where remote workers were flooding in and driving prices up.

And now some of these cities are facing rising supply and slower migration.

You do have some markets that are on the rise, like the Midwest, Northeast cities, Chicago, Cleveland,

housing stayed relatively the same, even while supplies remained tight. But what do we have

going on? Is this just a correction from the pandemic? Well, look, ever since 2021 and 2022,

when housing prices went through the roof,

seems like every two or three months, there's a big story or a big report that talks about

housing is overinflated and there's a big crash coming and there's no way this is sustainable.

Yet all we've seen is essentially housing at the very least stay the same or continue to rise. I mean,

the average house is now over $400,000. That's a national number. So I'm a little bit

skeptical in another article that talks about a major housing crash coming. Because of course,
