Donald Trump did something he said he did not want to do as recently as this morning. Donald Trump

extended the ceasefire with Iran a day before it was set to expire. that decision announced just in the last hour follows days

of back and forth over whether or not Vice President J.D. Vance would travel to Pakistan for negotiations.

Vance was going, then Vance was not going, then Vance was going, then Vance was going again.

The good news is that this would arguably allow for more time, for more possibilities,

more chances for peace. But it is another example of the chaotic back and forth and confusion

that is now emblematic of how Donald Trump is running this entire process. Here is what Donald Trump said this morning.

To be clear, you're saying that you need a, at least the prospects for a signed deal today and

tomorrow, or else you would resume bombing Iran?

Well, I expect to be bombing because I think that's a better attitude to go in with,

but we're ready to go.
