Japanese Prime Minister Sinai Takahichi visited the White House on Thursday, March 19th, to reaffirm the U.S.-Japan alliance.

And the meeting went about as well as you might expect

when one of the world leaders in that equation has no idea how to manage the crisis he created.

And of course, I'm speaking about our word of choice in Iraq. Takiichi is herself a hardline right winger.

She's also first, Japan's first female prime minister.

She arrived in D.C. simply to deliver a gift of goodwill,

250 cherry trees to mark America's upcoming 250th birthday. Instead, she walked into the buzzsaw

of Donald's War of Choice in Iran and spent her visit in the Oval Office navigating an extended

exercise in diplomatic damage control. There were signs throughout the meeting that she was not comfortable,

particularly when reporters pressed her about Japan's unwillingness to help secure the

Strait of Hormuz. Takaichi was seen checking her watch at one point and emphasized Japan's

opposition to a ransom's nuclear program,

appealing directly to Donald's extraordinarily fragile ego.

She actually told him that she believed he was the one who could bring peace globally,

which is quite the circle to square.

Donald, a global peacemaker, Taki-Ichi claimed.

The man, waging war of choice that has already killed

more than a thousand Iranian citizens,

including over 180 children.

Now, I don't know whether Taga-Ichi was being sincere here

or whether she, like most other world leaders, has figured

out how to complement her way into manipulating Donald, which is not a difficult thing to do.
