We'd like to get right into it.

And what we're going to get into today, of course, is Trump indictment.

The former president has been indicted.

The indictment has been made public.

It's got lots and lots of counts.

They seem to be kind of an inflated number of them.

And how you view it really depends on whether you think it's important in the first

place.

If you don't think it's something that that should have been pursued, then you don't

think it's a big deal.

And if you do think it is, then you think it's kind of a devastating indictment.

So anyway, what I'm going to talk about instead of going through the indictment itself,

which will take a number of days for people to really dig into.

I'm going to talk about Trump's defense and a particular look.

I had it, Trump's defense.

After remember, this is the first time ever that a former president has faced federal charges,

but it's also the first time ever that a sitting president's administration has indicted

a leading opposition party candidate in the run-up to a presidential election.

So you have the sitting president running for reelection, and he indicts his main competitor.

His justice department indicts his main competitor.
