Which today is actually a couple of things. First I'm going to talk about the state of Washington on the

eve of Joe Biden's inauguration, the whole war zone idea, and then after that I want to

talk about an extraordinary

extraordinary exchange between Nancy Pelosi and Hillary

Clinton and what it tells you about the state of Trump derangement syndrome post-Trump.

Trump derangement syndrome after Trump is no longer president.

So those are the two things we're going to talk about.

First of all, greetings from the war zone.

I am, in fact, in the District of Columbia

as we speak. and you have undoubtedly heard of Washington referred to as a war zone or perhaps an armed camp.

Now the truth is, in most parts of the the city you'd never know anything special was going on.

You walk down the street, go out to eat, sitting outside of course, and you never know anything is happening. Now, there are a lot of security

checkpoints, temporary fencing, boarded up buildings, and National Guard troops in the area that will be affected by the inauguration.

It's a big area, encompassing the area if you've been to Washington, east of the capital

to west of the White House, this big long area between the

capital and the White House and everything in between. Again, security

checkpoints. They put up a lot of fencing 8, 10, 12 feet high.

Many of the buildings are boarded up, expecting, I don't know what, and there are National Guard troops and a huge part of this

area has been closed to any vehicle traffic a lot of it you can still walk

around take a look around but you certainly couldn't drive a car.
