but first we want to get right into it and today I want to get into two

different things the first is Joe Biden's top priority. What top priority can you discern from his first day in office? The things he decided to do first. And after that, I want to talk a little bit about President Trump's

final hours in Washington, final hours in the presidency and the tone he adopted as he left.

So first, Biden's priority.

Now you know the new administration is enacting a whole bunch of executive actions and it says it must act very quickly

with a flurry of executive orders because the nation is experiencing not one, not two, not three, but four crises all

at the same time.

Now the new chief of staff Ron Klein wrote a memo a day or two before inauguration and this is what he said

quote we face for overlapping and compounding crises the COVID-19 crisis, the resulting economic crisis, the

climate crisis, and a racial equity crisis. So therefore, Kleyn said, the new President Biden should undo much of what

President Trump did as quickly as possible. So four crises. COVID-19, resulting economic crisis, climate and racial equity, all of those one time.

So, Biden does have a very big first day.

He issues 17 executive action. Biden does have a very big first day.

He issues 17 executive actions.

We call him executive actions because not every single one of them

is an executive order, but they're all done

on his executive authority. So 17 executive actions. And these actions

tell us something about his priorities. And if you judge from the first day, it appears that his top priority,

his top priority was not any one of those four overlapping and

compounding crises.
