Protests have erupted in Los Angeles that as Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents staged a sweep of migrant workers near a local Home Depot said to be part of a larger ice operation underway in Southern California.

Protesters clashed with law enforcement who were wearing riot gear.

They responded with tear gas, as some demonstrators set vehicles on fire at block major roadways.
