It's worth remembering many countries deal with coups and plots to steal elections. In Brazil, it was January 2023,

when you had these dramatic images in their own version of what some saw

as an echo of January 6th, a mob attacking and ramsacking the capital building in that country,

and there were election lies which fueled the riders who stormed the capital.

like treason and rebellion, and the protests and gatherings that come with that. One of those heads

development today in Washington where a failed coup leader returns to the site of his failed coup. A man indicted for plots to

obstruct Congress is making his first return to Congress since January 6th,

returning to the scene of a now convicted crime.

The violent militia leaders who led the storming of the capital

are currently in prison.

They have been tried, convicted, and sentenced for sedition. That's a grave

charge tantamount to treason. Trump himself is awaiting his own Supreme Court

ruling this month on when or how he'll face a federal trial for

And while other nations, as I mentioned here, have swiftly ousted leaders of failed coups, and the United States
