Welcome to the beat. I'm Ari Melber. Today, the defendant in the Charlie Kirk shooting appeared in court for the first time. Tyler Robinson, you can see here in a brief hearing. About 10 minutes, he was read his charges, appointed a lawyer and told that the state intends in his case to seek the death penalty.
