You know, sometimes when I'm scrolling up and down all this information that I gather

for each podcast, I miss things or I think I'll go back to them and don't get to it.

So one thing I meant to get to yesterday was this Wall Street Journal report,

administration officials telling the Wall Street Journal

that Melania Trump privately was raising concerns over the East Wing project, now demolished,

because that contained the offices of the First Lady, although she didn't use it very much.

She was quietly distancing herself from the demolition carried out by her husband.

Her office didn't comment.

The White House didn't comment.

But she's just letting some insiders know, like, hey, if this is a fiasco, it's not my fiasco.

One thing I was wrong about was the World Series,

a pathetic performance, really, by the Los Angeles Dodgers.

I had thought maybe Toronto in losing that 18-inning six-hour marathon in Los Angeles,

that that was a turning point.

But not only did the Blue Jays come out and win the game, it was 6'1 for most of the game, and then there was a garbage run scored late in the game by the Dodgers.

Shohei Otani was okay from the mound.

He had a number of strikeouts, but he also gave up a two-run homer.

By the end, it didn't matter.

The Dodgers could not score much more than a bleeping run on a sack fly.
