Turn with me, please, in the scriptures to the book of Acts and the first chapter, Acts

chapter 1, down here about verse 7, they were asking the Lord about when he was going to

restore the kingdom to Israel,

and he said it's not for you to know the times and the seasons,

which the Father has put in his power.

You know, some things are revealed to us.

Some things are not.

Some things about the times and the seasons and the future you're not going to be able to figure out

because it's not revealed and you got to watch about filling in the blanks a lot of folks

would have been better off if when they were asked certain questions that had just said, I don't know.

People seem to get choked on that.

He said that's not revealed to you.

But what is going to happen, verse 8, you shall receive power after that the Holy Ghost,

well, ghost is an old English word for spirit,

after the Holy Spirit is come upon you, and you shall be witnesses unto me, both in Jerusalem and in all Judea and in Samaria and under the uttermost part of the earth.

Now, Jerusalem, Judea is where they were.

But then there's an expanding area of influence, branching out,

larger and larger circle of influence, even to the uttermost part of the earth.

And he's saying their witness is going to reach.

Set out loud with me, you shall receive power.

You shall receive power after the Holy Spirit has come upon you.

And you shall be witnesses. Hallelujah. Witnesses, Jesus said, unto me.
