If you would turn with me in the scriptures this evening, we're going to release our faith

for utterance and light, truth.

We're going to Mark chapter 9.

In about verse 17 here, I think.

Mark 917, the story is told here.

We've gone into some detail about it.

How that Jesus went up on the mountaintop with the three disciples,

and the glory of the Lord was manifested.

And his clothes and his person became glistening white,

whiter than any snow, whiter than any natural white,

and there appeared to them Moses and Elijah, who had lived many, many, many years ago on the earth,

and talking with them.

And they talked to him about what was about to happen with him.

And then the Father God spoke

out of heaven, and they all heard it audibly

and said, this is my beloved son.

Listen to him.

Then when they came down out of this amazing, glorious experience, there was upheaval and turmoil

down at the base of the mountain with the disciples because the religious leaders were mocking them

and making fun of them, ridiculing them,

because of their failure to get a boy set free

who had had all these seizures and all these problems.
