Turn with me to 2 Timothy, please.

2 Timothy, the first chapter.

We've been for a few weeks now on the subject of faith, one of my favorites.

Anybody like faith besides me?

Well, you know, you probably wouldn't come to this faith life church if you didn't like something about it, about faith.

But you know God likes faith.

In fact, it's impossible to please him in anything, anytime, anyway, without some of it.

In 2 Timothy, the first chapter,

2 Timothy, chapter 1,

Paul, the Spirit of God actually through Paul,

writing to Timothy, his son in the faith,

he said, verse 5,

when I call to remembrance the unfained faith, say that out loud

why don't you, the unfeigned faith.

When I call to remembrance, the unfaigned faith that is in you, which dwelt first in

your grandmother, Lo Lois and your mother

unicy, I am persuaded that in you also. He said this was in your grandmother, this was in your mother,

and it's in you. What's in you? Faith. But he uses a qualifier.

He uses a word to describe what kind of faith.

What kind of faith did he say?

Unfeigned faith.

If there's an unfained faith, what else must there be?
