Turn with me this evening to the gospel account of John.

John 13.

We have Friday night services every weekend, but this actually is still part of our marriage meeting.

And in the past times, Friday night has been love night.

I've got a lot of different responses on that one, wasn't?

Don't forget, God is love.

Okay.

And by that, talking about about love what love is how to walk in love how to live how to live

in love and how many think we should check up on ourselves how are we doing in our love walk?

How many think we've got room to grow?

Well, if you don't think so, then you're confused.

Because to be completely developed in love is Christ-like perfection.

That's what it is. And to be just like Jesus is to be love.

You know, he said, if you've seen me, you've seen the Father. Well, God is love. So couldn't you say,

if you've seen Jesus, you've seen love? Well, isn't that our calling as well?

We're not to look back and see how much we failed and missed it and came short,

not looking at those things that are behind, but we're to reach forward and press

toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ

Jesus.

What is that mark?

It's being just like Jesus.

That's what it is.
