Would you turn with me this morning in the scripture to verses that we've looked at previously, 2 Timothy the first chapter?

2 Timothy 1 and 5.

He says, when I call to remembrance the unfeigned faith that is in you which dwelt first in

your grandmother Lois and in your mother unicy and I am persuaded that in you also he said it was in your grandmother.

It was in your mother.

I'm persuaded it's in you too.

What's in you too?

Faith.

But he uses a qualifier.

What kind of faith?

Unfeigned faith faith the Wuss translation says

unhypocrical faith

unhypocrical

if there's an unfained faith

what else must there be

a feigned faith

if there's an unhypocrical faith, what else must there be? A hypocritical

faith. Three different translations, the New Living and the century and New King James says, I remember your genuine faith. If there's a genuine faith, what else must there be?

Yeah, a counterfeit, a false.

Three different translations, the basic English, easy to read, and others say,

I remember your true faith.
