headlines with Ruby. In crime news this week, celebrity crocodile wrangler Matt Wright has admitted

he missed the birth of his third child after being released from prison in the Northern Territory.

He served five months behind bars after being convicted of two counts of attempting

to pervert the course of justice in relation to events after a fatal helicopter crash.

He was sentenced to 10 months, but on Monday, the non-parole period of five months expired.

It's understood he still plans to fight the guilty verdict.
