Normally I cover cases that occurred years ago, but with this episode, I shed light on cases

that have emerged in current news cycles.

So, ladies, imagine being a victim of voyeurism.

Some Canadian women suffered that fate recently, as documented in the article by the Canadian

Broadcasting Corporation.

Headline, police in BC say 652 victims in Canada's most prolific case of voyeurism ever prosecuted.

Police say surreptitiously recorded pictures, videos uploaded online and viewed around the world,

a Vancouver Island man pleaded guilty in what police are calling the,

quote, most prolific case of voyeurism ever prosecuted in Canada. The Sanich Police Department

said investigators identified at least 652 women and girls as victims.

Sanich Police say Yin Yong Derek Chan 39 was handed a 4.5-year prison sentence on Thursday

after pleading guilty to multiple voyeurism-related charges.

Those charges included surreptitiously recording people in a police where they reasonably expect

privacy, observing and recording for a sexual purpose, making child pornography and publishing a recording that was obtained

in the commission of a crime.
